The Digidestined were all back at home bored because there was nothing to do. The real world was very quiet now that
they had defeated most of the evil Digimon. That, however, was about to change. Tai was going to Matt's house to see if there was anything to do. Tai got to Matt's house and knocked on the door. There
was no answer. He knocked again. No answer. Tai tried the door knob and it was unlocked. He looked around.
Everything looks normal Tai though. Tai looked in Matt's room and saw a note on his desk. It read: Tai, I've found something very unusual. I can't tell you what. When you find this I will already be in the digital world with
T.K. Time is of the essence. Please contact the others and bring them to the digital world. -Matt That's odd, thought Tai, that didn't sound like something Matt would write. He put the note in his pocket and ran off to
get the others. First he stopped off at Izzy's house. He knocked on his door. No answer. He tried the door knob. It was
unlocked too. This is getting very strange, thought Tai. He looked inside and found a similar note written by Izzy. He
looked for the others, but came up with the same results. He went back home to get Kari to investigate. He went inside
and found a note on the refrigerator. It was also like the one Matt and the others wrote. "Kari!" Tai yelled, "where are
you?" He searched the house for any sign of Kari, but to no avail. It's as if all the Digidestined had vanished. Suddenly a
hand grabbed him and put a cloth over his mouth. Tai blacked out. Tai awakened in some sort of prison. He saw the others in similar cells. "What's going on here!?" Tai asked himself. He
turned and saw Agumon in his cell also. He walked over to the wall of the cell and looked through the metal bars. He saw
that Izzy and Tentomon were in the next cell. "Izzy," Tai said, "do you know how we got here?" "I don't know. It seems that we are in the digital world again, but how we were transported here is unknown," Izzy
responded. " I seem to remember a hand grabbing me and then me blacking out due to lack of oxygen when a cloth
containing a chemical compound similar to chloroform was put over my oral cavity." "Uh, yeah, me too," Tai said. "Agumon do you remember how you got here." "No, not really," said Agumon. "I have an idea, Agumon try using your pepper breath to break through the door." Tai said. "Uh okay, Pepper Breath," yelled Agumon. The pepper breath hit the door and it burst into flames. When the flames died
down the door was still there, just darker colored than before. "Save your breath foolish Digimon," boomed a mysterious voice. "Who's that?" yelled Tai, "show yourself." "In time. So I assume you're wondering why you're here." "Yeah." "Well, I have gathered all you Digidestined to face a challenge." "A challenge what kind of challenge?" "You'll see. In twelve hours you will face us in combat. If you win, you will be freed." "What if we loose." "You'll find out. Ha Ha Ha Ha," laughed the voice. "What are we going to do now?" asked Tai. "Well, we should rest because our Digimon are going to need all the strength they have," said Joe, who was a couple cells
over. "I wonder who they are," asked Mimi. "The voice sounded human, rather than a Digimon," responded Izzy. "Hey guys before I came here Gennai tried to contact me, but I couldn't receive his message before they kidnaped T.K. and
I," Matt said, "maybe he was trying to warn us of this." "Hey Izzy, is there any way you can access a message from Gennai on your computer?" Tai asked Izzy. "Well, let me see," responded Izzy as he opened his laptop and started typing furiously. "I think if I route the source of the
message through the converter and change the frequency modulation of the..." "Just do it already!" interrupted Tai. "Okay. There I can open his message in the form of a e-mail," said Izzy triumphantly. He clicked a button on his mouse
and a screen popped up showing Gennai. "Well, Digidestined, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that there are eight more Digidestined. The bad
news is that they are evil and they're out to destroy you," said the image on the screen. "No way," said Tai. "Quiet, there's more," responded Izzy. "These evil Digidestined each posses the opposite powers of your crests. They were created by the Dark Masters before
you defeated them. They analyzed data from all their encounters with you and made special crests and digivices. Then they
got eight evil digieggs and found eight evil people to be the Digidestined. Be careful if you ever encounter them. They will
stop at nothing to destroy you and they all know your weaknesses," stated Gennai ominously. "There is only one way to
defeat them. That is..." The recording broke up into static. "Izzy, what happened," asked Tai. "Uh, I don't know," responded Izzy as he typed on his computer, futilely trying to save the lost file. Tai looked at the
computer screen. The screen suddenly turned blue. On it was an error message: Error: "Imbecilic programers," complained Izzy, "if only they spent their time debugging windows instead of making Haiku error
messages." "What do you expect!?" Tai said, "Your computer says 'Made in China'" "What do you think we should do, if those dark Digidestined are as good as Gennai says..." said Matt. "Well, first we should get some rest," responded Mimi, "I don't know about you but all this getting kidnaped makes me
tired." "Good idea," said Joe, "we need to save our strength for the battle ahead." Twelve hours later. Tai was awakened by the sound of footsteps. "Hey guy's someone's coming," Tai shouted. The Digidestined and their
Digimon woke up most seeming more refreshed. That's good, thought Tai, that means that we'll have a better chance of
winning. A figure approached. He was dressed in a long black cloak, and his features were hidden in shadow. "All of you follow me," the figure said. He lifted his hand and took out a remote control like device. He pushed a button
on it and all the cell doors opened. The Digidestined came out of their cells and followed him. The entered a narrow, dark
corridor. The corridor was filled with many twists and turns and side branches. I hope we don't get lost, Tai though as he
walked along. They walked for what seemed like hours in silence, studying their surroundings and trying to remember the
path they had taken. Then they came upon a large opening. It was what looked like an arena for battle, with eight special
marked spaces on each side of the arena. The figure walked over to the right side of the arena where seven other cloaked
figures were standing. "Go to the left and stand on the spot where your crest's symbol is," said the cloaked figure in the middle. The Digidestined
walked over to the left. They saw eight circles, each one with a picture of their crest engraved in stone. They must have
been expecting us, though Tai as he stepped onto the picture of the crest of courage. Once all the Digidestined and their
Digimon were on their spots. The same cloaked figure stepped out again. "Now, you may be wondering why you are here," he began in his deep, dark voice. He pulled off his hood on his cloak,
revealing a young face, about the same age as the other Digidestined. "I am Kai. These are my associates," Kai said as each
of the other figures pulled off their hoods. "There is Big Pete, with the crest of hate, and his Digimon, Tokagemon," he
said pointing to the strongest looking one of the eight. His Digimon was a small lizard like creature that stood on two feet
and held a spiked club. The Digimon, like it's master, was muscular. Kai then pointed to a slender looking girl with fiery
red hair, "That is Fiya, with the crest of rage, and her Digimon, Matalomon." Matalomon looked like a strong, but agile
bull, with horns made of metal. "Over to my right is Arial, with the crest of contempt, and his Digimon Falcomon." Arial
was wearing sunglasses and she had long blond hair, while her Digimon Falcomon, looked like a small falcon, wearing a
crash helmet and flight goggles. Kai then pointed to his left at a small girl, about the same age as Kari. "This is Lora, with
the crest of darkness, and her Digimon, Nekomon" Nekomon looked like a black cat, similar to Gatomon, except it carried
a spear with a black blade on it. "He is Nerdo, with the crest of deception, and his Digimon, Octamon." He said pointing to
a smaller, more nerdy looking guy. His Digimon, Octamon, looked like a walking polygon. Kai then pointed to a tall boy
and a Digimon that looked like a bat with a dark sorcerer's hat. "That is Bruce, with the crest of corruption, and his
Digimon, Darkmagemon." Then he pointed to a small boy, who was about the same age as TK, "That is PK, with the crest
of doom, and his Digimon, Shihoshimon." PK's Digimon looked like a fireball, burning with an eerie red glow. Kai continued, "I hold the power of the crest of fear and my Digimon is Skuldramon." Skuldramon, who was next to Kai,
looked like a skull with wings to keep it aloft. "Now, enough with the formalities. We are here to battle with you. Who
will triumph, the crests of good, or the crests of evil? Attack!" he said, as all the evil Digimon charged forth. "You heard him guys, send your Digimon," Tai yelled. The good Digimon ran forward to challenge the Digimon across
from them. Agumon vs Skuldramon, Gabumon vs. Tokagemon, Palmon vs Matalomon, Biyomon vs. Falcomon, Gatomon
vs Nekomon, Tentomon vs. Octamon, Gomamon vs. Darkmagemon, and Patamon vs. Shihoshimon. Sounds of the battle echoed through the arena. They were a mix of screams, battle cries, commands, and pain. "Pepper
breath," Agumon yelled, shooting his fireball at Skuldramon. Skuldramon, dodged aside and yelled, "Skull bash," as he
rammed into Agumon's chest. "Dark claw," yelled Nekomon, as she swiped at Gatomon. Gatomon, jumped up and jump kicked Nekomon on the way
down. "Super shocker," said Tentomon when it fired it's bolt of electricity at Octamon. "Teleportation," Octamon said. It
diapered then reappeared behind Tentomon as it hit it with it's deceptively powerful arms. "Dark magic," yelled Darkmagemon as it shot a beam of energy at Gomamon. Gomamon was sent flying back knocking
Patamon down. "Solar flare," yelled Shihoshimon, firing a pillar of fire at Gomamon and Patamon. "Marching fishes," said Gomamon, as the marching fishes came and extinguished the approaching pillar of fire. Up above them, Biyomon and Falcomon were engaged in combat. "Drill peck," yelled Falcomon, as it dove toward
Biyomon with its sharp beat aimed at it. Biyomon dodged aside and yelled "Spiral twister," firing her spiral twister attack at Falcomon. "Tail whip" yelled Tokagemon as he swung his tail at Gabumon, who ducked and grabbed Tokagemon's tail. "Take this," shouted Gabumon as he threw Tokagemon over his shoulder. Right as Gabumon was going to attack
Tokagemon again, Skuldramon slammed into Gabumon. "Don't worry, I'll help you," Agumon said. "Pepper breath." Agumon shot his pepper breath at Skuldramon again.
Suddenly Tokagemon jumped up again and grabbed Gabumon, using him as a shield for the pepper breath. The pepper
breath hit Gabumon straight in the chest and Gabumon yelled out in pain. "Gabumon, no!" screamed Matt. "Tai, we have to do something, we're getting creamed." "I know Matt," said Tai, in deep thought, "I think tha..." "Aaaaargh," yelled Agumon as Skuldramon slammed into it again and then Tokagemon punched it with it's very muscular
arm. Agumon, flew over and landed by Matalomon. Who turned to look. Palmon decided to attack while Matalomon was
distracted. "Poison ivy," yelled Palmon as it swung it's vines at Matalomon. Matalomon turned to look in the direction of Palmon. "Fury charge," Matalomon said as it charged forward at Palmon,
who's poison ivy attack only bounced harmlessly off of Matalomon's horns. Matalomon smashed into Palmon, horns first,
sending Palmon flying into Mimi, knocking both of them down. "Fury charge," Matalomon yelled again as he charged toward Palmon and Mimi. "Help!" yelled Mimi as she struggled to get up. "Mimi!" yelled Palmon. "Palmon, digivolve to... Togemon!" Palmon yelled, as it digivolved into Togamon and kicked
Matalomon away. "Oh, so you want to up the ante now, pretty girl," taunted Fiya. "Matalomon digivolve!" she commanded as she pulled out
her dark digivice. "Matalomon, digivolve to..." Matalomon said. It glowed in a bright light and then changed into a much bigger, more
psychotic looking bull. "Psykomon!" Psykomon charged at Togamon again. "Psyko Attack!!!" it said as it charged into Togamon, arms flailing madly. "Quick everyone digivolve," yelled Tai. The good Digimon backed off from their battle and all digivolved. Biyomon
digivolved into Birdramon, Gabumon digivolved into Garurumon, Gatomon digivolved into Angewomon, Tentomon
digivolved into Kabuterimon, Gomamon digivolved into Ikakumon, and Patamon digivolved into Angemon. "Okay, lets show them what we have to offer," Kai said. "Digivolve." Then all the evil Digimon started digivolving too.
Skuldramon digivolved into Skelomon, a giant skeleton. Tokagemon digivolved into Krushamon, an even bigger, more
muscular version of Tokagemon carrying an even larger club. Falcomon digivolved into Raptormon, a bigger version of
Falcomon armed with air to air weaponry. Nekomon digivolved into Shinobimon, a ninja carrying a much larger spear.
Octamon digivolved into Antipseudorhombicubeoctahedronmon, a bigger polygon. Darkmagemon digivolved into
Komorimon, a bigger bat with blades on his wings, and Shihoshimon digivolved into Eclipsormon, a humanlike creature
dressed in black and carrying a saber made of black metal. "Agumon, digivolve," Tai yelled. Agumon struggled to get up but couldn't. He was too weak. "Garurumon, protect Agumon until he can get his strength back." Matt said. "Got it," responded Garurumon as he stood by Agumon. "Don't worry, I'll protect you," he said to Agumon. "Thanks, pal," Agumon said weakly. "Hey Izzy, what does your Digimon analyzer say about these Digimon," Tai asked Izzy. "If we can find a weakness, we
stand a much better chance of winning." "I'm currently seeking the answer to your question," Izzy said as he typed into his computer, "there is very little data on
these creatures, but I'm trying to extract data from this area's computer database. I believe Nerdo on the other side of the
arena knows what I am doing and is reinforcing the mainframes security countermeasures. It will take me some time,
however, because I have not fully repaired my processing unit from the malfunction earlier today." "Harpoon torpedo," Ikakumon yelled firing his torpedo at Komorimon, who was airborne and diving at Ikakumon. Komorimon dodged the torpedo and yelled, "Wings of death," as he slashed at Ikakumon with his bladed wings. "Saber of doom," yelled Eclipsormon as he swung his saber at Angemon. Angemon blocked with his staff and yelled "Hand of Fate," shooting his hand of fate attack at Komorimon. Komorimon
was knocked off of Ikakumon and Ikakumon shot another Torpedo. This time the torpedo hit knocking Komorimon out of
the sky. Komorimon then turned back to Darkmagemon. "Devil's spear," Shinobimon said as she threw her spear at Ikakumon. The spear hit Ikakumon and Ikakumon turned back
into Gomamon. "Celestial arrow," Angewomon said as she shot an arrow at Shinobimon. Just then Eclipsormon jumped and parried the
arrow with his saber. He then continued and slashed at Angewomon. Shinobimon joined in, throwing his spear at
Angewomon. Angewomon was hit by both of then and fell. She then turned back into Gatomon. "Hand of fate," Angemon yelled. The attack struck Shinobimon. Then Angemon moved in to attack both of the evil
Digimon with his staff. Over on the other side of the arena Garurumon was fending off Skelomon and Krushamon. "Swinging club" yelled
Krushamon, as he swung his club at Garurumon. Garurumon, jumped over the club and yelled "Howling blaster," shooting
Krushamon with his howling blaster. "Bone attack," yelled Skelomon as he threw the bone at Garurumon. Garurumon flipped over the bone and bit Skelomon. "Dive bomb." yelled Raptormon as it swooped away from Birdramon. Raptormon tossed a bomb at Agumon. "Agumon watch out!" yelled Tai. Agumon attempted to get up, but couldn't, he was still too weak. Tai ran out into the
arena to try and save Agumon. "Garurumon, quick do something," yelled Matt. Garurumon jumped up into the bomb that Raptormon had launched.
"Quick get down!" yelled Matt as he tackled Tai to keep him down. The explosion was blocked by Garurumon, but
Garurumon was sent flying across the arena. "Garurumon!" Matt said at he saw Garurumon land. Then Matt's crest of
friendship started to glow. "Swinging club," Krushamon yelled as he ran toward the fallen Garurumon. Agumon got to his feet and said, "I'll help you pal." Then Tai's crest of Courage started to glow also. "Agumon warp
digivolve to..." Agumon said as he started to digivolve. "Wargreymon!" Wargreymon grabbed Krushamon's club and threw
him aside. "Are you okay, Garurumon?" Wargreymon asked. "Yeah, thanks to you," answered Garurumon. "Now let's go kick some evil butt!" Wargreymon exclaimed. "Garurumon, digivolve to..." Garurumon said. "Weregarurumon!" "Terra force," yelled Wargreymon as it launched an energy sphere at Skelomon. The sphere hit Skelomon and sent him
flying. When Skelomon landed it turned back to Skuldramon. Weregarurumon then went to attack Krushamon. "Swinging club," Krushamon yelled. Weregarurumon ducked under the club and uppercutted Krushamon. Then he jabbed
it and did a roundhouse kick. The kick sent him flying toward Wargreymon, who swiped at it with his metal claws. That
knocked down Krushamon, who then turned back to Tokagemon. Raptormon came back around and started launching tons of dive bombs at the Digidestined. "Quick, retreat!" yelled Tai. "Wargreymon, hold them off okay." "You too Weregarurumon," said Matt. The rest of the Digidestined ran toward the edge of the arena. "Meteor wing," Birdramon yelled, using her attack to break a hole in the wall. All the Digidestined except for Tai and Matt
ran out of the hole and escaped. Wargreymon and Weregarurumon slowly backed off as they held of all of the evil Digimon's attacks. Suddenly Raptormon
swooped above Matt and Tai and was about to launch another dive bomb at them. "Terra force," yelled Wargreymon again, this time firing at Raptormon. The energy sphere hit Raptormon and sent it
smashing against the wall and the attack made it turn back into Falcomon. Then Shinobimon and Eclipsormon teamed up against Wargreymon. "Saber of Death!" "Devil's Spear!" Both of their weapons hit Wargreymon. Wargreymon doubled over in pain and fell. He then turned back into Koromon.
Psykomon and Antipseudorhombicubeoctahedronmon also teamed up against Weregarurumon. "Telekinesis!" yelled Antipseudorhombicubeoctahedronmon as he used his telekinetic powers to throw a rock, loosened by
Raptormon's collision against the wall, at Weregarurumon. The rock smashed into Weregarurumon's head and sent him off balance. Then Psykomon charged yelling "Psyko Attack!"
He punched Weregarurumon furriously and Weregarurumon fell and turned back into Tsunomon. "We need to get out of here fast!" yelled Matt. Matt and Tai grabbed their injured Digimon and started to run. Before they could get out of the hole the others had escaped from Darkmagemon yelled "Dark Magic." He shot his
magical beam and it struck Tai. Tai fell, severely hurt from the attack. "Tai!" Matt screamed. He ran over to Tai's body. He then pulled him over his shoulder and jumped out of the hole to
escape. "We'll find them later," Kai said in his evil voice. "We should let our Digimon rest then we will pursue them throughout the
digital world." "They will never escape us; they will die," commented PK. "Tai, wake up," Matt said, "are you hurt?" There was no response. "Will Tai be okay?" asked Koromon. "I hope he'll be okay," Matt said softly as tears filled his eyes. Will Tai be okay? Will the Digidestined be able to defeat the evil Digidestined? Find out in the next episode of Digimon:
